News just in from Houno

Great news from Houno with all standard Visual Cooking models (C, K, B and C-gas ovens) now with increased memory. Being rolled out from October 1, 2011, they go from 10 programmes to a whopping 50. Another bonus, now all 50 programmes can hold 10 steps, up from 3. This not only means more recipes, but more finesse able to be set into each recipe (especially with Houno ovens boasting a temperature accuracy to within an unbelievable 4 deg C). Kitchen staff will be able to reach the same delicious and precise results every time with less manual fiddling and more time for plating up.

 SPINFRESH technology grabs attention at Fine Foods

SPINFRESH, a fresh spin on food, is the technology that spins off excess oil from fried products after cooking, and caused quite a stir at Fine Foods. This new technology is now available on most Pitco Solstice fryers and at the Spyral stand the demonstrations were grabbing everyone's attention.
